BanterWear operates this store and website, including all related content, features, tools, products, and services (the “Services”). BanterWear is operated by RSGT, LLC and is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.

Personal information we collect or process

We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from it, depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live:

  • Financial information — payment card and financial account information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmations. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store them.

  • With our advertising and marketing partners — including Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, and X (Twitter) — to measure and deliver advertising to you across their platforms and other sites and apps, based on your activity. These partners use your information under their own privacy policies. Depending on where you live, you may direct us not to share your information for targeted advertising — opt out here.
  • When you direct or consent to disclosure, such as to ship your order or through social media widgets or login integrations.
  • With our affiliates or within our corporate group.
  • In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger or bankruptcy), to comply with legal obligations, to enforce our terms, or to protect the Services, our rights, and the rights of others.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate your cart, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. This includes analytics and advertising technologies from Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and X. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage advertising-related sharing on our Your Privacy Choices page. If you visit with a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser or device.

Email and SMS communications

If you opt in, we may contact you by email and/or SMS about your order (transactional messages) and about offers and new releases (marketing). Consent to marketing is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in our emails, and opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP (reply HELP for help).

Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services to provide and improve them, and may use certain enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store and other merchants. Third-party links

The Services may link to sites we don't operate. We're not responsible for the privacy or security of those sites; review their policies before providing information.

Children's data

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of individuals under 16. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.

Security and retention

No security measures are perfect, and information sent to us may not be secure in transit — please don't use unsecured channels for sensitive information. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Transfers out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the Standard Contractual Clauses, unless the destination provides an adequate level of protection.
