BanterWear (operated by RSGT, LLC) respects intellectual property — ours and everyone else's. This page explains what's protected and how to reach us with a copyright concern.

Our designs are ours

All BanterWear designs, artwork, slogans, product copy, logos, and the BanterWear name are the property of RSGT, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or use them without our written permission. (Yes, we see the irony of a jokes brand being serious here. The jokes are ours.)

Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA)

If you believe content on this store infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at legal@banterwear.com (subject line: “DMCA Notice”) including:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with a link or enough detail for us to find it.
• Your name, address, phone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the required information under the DMCA.

A note on false claims

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages. Please only submit notices in good faith.
